It was all set! Thursday morning, May 26, 2011. A bunch of players from our department will play pick-up ball with our visitor, Mr. Benjamin Walker. Game time is set at 9:00 am, departure should have been 8:00 am, but as we all know, stuff happens.
We arrived at the site about 15 minutes after 9:00 am. It was worth it actually. The first game started and everyone is happy. I played at the second and third games, going in and out. It was fun, everyone was all smiles after the activity. We didn't really care who won the game, all it matters is that we created a bond with everyone who participated in the scrimmage.
Short talks, sharing a drink, gabbing a few bites. How I wish life is as simple and happy as this. Anyway, what really is important is we had fun and had the chance to interact with our visitor, this rarely happens in our field so I'm happy to be a part of this activity.

The activity ended, everyone is happy and all smiles. What more can we ask for? Happiness enjoyed in it's simplest form is a rewarding experience. Hope we can have more of this in the future. Thank you Jake for sharing the pictures.
