This Halloween, enjoy carnival treats under warm lights in the crisp October air with your favorite people. Witness wonders of all shapes and sizes at The Great South Show, where acrobats and other peculiar performers put on a show you’ve never seen before. A distorted visual experience awaits at a giant House of Mirrors, and eccentric clowns invade a Haunted Mansion for the creepiest adventure.

Explore world and open new dimensions in your chase in a new map, Kounat! 

Kounat will be the 3rd and latest map which will be available for everyone in GrandChase-Dimensional Chaser.

What to expect?

This update is the story of heroes who traveled to the Kingdom of Kounat after chasing the traces of the Red Knight Elesis was revealed. Opening a story that explores the end of the destruction of the Kounat Kingdom.

In the course of the adventure of the third world - Kounat, which boasted a brilliant civilization, heroes will travel through 36 stages of four difficulty levels. Users will be immersed in the innermost part of events that led the Kounat Kingdom’s destruction in a massive explosion. 

It especially deals with the story connected with the PC version Grand Chase, thus, the popular heroes of the original series are expected to be popular among new fans.

New S-class heroes: the Tank type Baronas and the Assault type Kalisa will be introduced and the highest level raised from 80 to 90.

In celebration of this update, there will be many exciting in-game and Facebook events that will be held. Special events and gifts, Gems, Premium Summon, Gold and many more, awaits everyone to commemorate this update!

LCS Group of Companies strengthen the bid for third Telco by joining Tier 1 Consortium

Quezon City – LCS Group of Companies, headed by its Chairman, Mr. Luis "Chavit" Singson shall file its bid as third Telco in the country, at the National Telecommunication Commission on Monday morning, October 8.

LCS Group of Companies shall intensify its telecommunication sector under union with TierOne Communications International Inc.

TierOne is a communications and Connectivity Ecosystem dedicated to delivering broadband-based products and services, with particular focus on the under-served and un-served markets.

In the Philippines, TierOne has begun with the delivery of bandwidth to the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), where broadband has been identified as a key driver of growth. TierOne has partnered with the industry's top vendors and service providers locally and abroad, to hasten and improve the quality of connectivity available in the area. The present roadmap is focused on rolling out a quality broadband network nationwide.

DotMobile is the mobile brand of TierOne, the name behind the mobile and broadband services. Apart from services though, DotMobile will soon also be carried by devices - phones, tablets, and laptops.

The Itchyworms Return to Singapore to Scratch an Itch

It  has  been  almost  a  decade  since  The  Itchyworms  performed  in  the  city-state  of Singapore. The  now-iconic  Marina Bay Sands was still under construction, for one, and Universal Studios was probably still in blueprints.

 

The last time the band was there in 2008, they performed in a double bill with Marcus Adoro. First, to serve as his backup band, playing songs from his seminal solo album, Markus Highway, and  second,  to  play  their  own  songs.  The  night  ended  in  an  epic  extended  jam  on  old Eraserheads songs.

 

 

The  years  have  only  made  the  band’s  wanderlust  —  itch,  to  borrow  from  their  name  —  for Singapura that much more insistent. The hunger for the hawker holy grail that is authentic laksa is quite real, and so is the thirst for performing in front of new audiences, such as Singapore’s music-loving folk, whether expats or locals.

 

 

Now,  the  band  will  finally  get  to  scratch  their decade-old itch for Singapore! The Itchyworms have partnered with the awesome people of Pinoy-powered events group Requiem Rising SG, to  bring  you  an  extraordinary  one-night  only  musical  experience. On  November 3,  all paths lead to Hero’s Bar. Whether your hankering is for food, drink, or really good music, it’s sure to be satisfied

A Look Inside Sugarhouse SM San Lazaro

"Happiness is knowing there is cake from Sugarhouse"

Sugarhouse, Manila's premier cake shop, has championed a tradition of good taste in cakes, pastries, and other delectable dishes for more than 35 years now.

Last Saturday, August 25, I was invited by Jeffrey De Real Rusios, Marketing Manager of Sugarhouse, to visit Sugarhouse SM San Lazaro branch to check out what the branch has to offer. Prior to the visit, I really didn't have much of an idea about Sugarhouse.

Arriving at the branch, I was greeted by the friendly and accommodating staff and we immediately went to business. They welcomed me with a nice cold Cafe Mocha and sugar free ensaymada. After taking a sip of the served beverage, I immediately said to myself, "Where have you been all my life, Sugarhouse?"

After taking a sip of the beverage, I immediately explored the area. The San Lazaro branch has a nice space for dine-in customers but I guess it was set-up as more of a take out station. From my rough estimate, the branch has a seating capacity of about 20-24, more or less.

But don't let that fool you. This branch has all the good stuff. Cakes, pastries, pies, breads, loaves, pasta, cookies, kisses, hot or ice blended drinks, and more.

Several cakes and pastries were presented to the batch of bloggers that day. Here are some of my recommendations:

Concorde: Three layers of vanilla chiffon filled with light othello chocolate mousse playfully covered with chocolate meringue sticks.

Available in three sizes: 8" (Php730), Petite (Php380) and Baby (Php180)

Chocolate Truffle: The best selling cake of Sugarhouse. Chocolate chiffon cake filled and iced with chocolate butter cream with a slight tinge of coffee.

Available in three sizes: 8" (Php975), Petite (Php330) and Baby (Php150)

Coffee Sans Rival: Not your usual, Sans Rival. Each of the layers of meringue wafers is filled with buttercream with a hint of coffee. Available in 8" (Php880) only.

Almond Sans Rival: Crunchy on the outside, chewy inside. Four delicious layers of cashew meringue and butter cream topped generously with sliced almonds. Melt-in-your mouth goodness that is truly sans rival.

Available in 8" (Php950) only.

Cashew Toffee: A light chocolate chiffon cake filled with chocolate mousse with a hint of rum. Glazed with extra creamy buttercream then topped with cashew toffee bits and chopped cashew.
